Job Description / Responsibilities / Candidate’s Mission

As a Front-End Developer, you will be part of our experienced core development team, who handle all development, implementation and troubleshooting aspects of our platform, using the latest cutting-edge technologies. You should be passionate about building scalable software and making high quality impactful changes. You'll be working with tools and libraries like AngularJS, Angular2+, NodeJS, Ionic3 and others. You will report to the Senior Software Engineer.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Write well-designed, testable code
  • Coordinate with all project teams inside and outside of the company
  • Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software
  • Define and implement tests to verify the requirements needed at the initial stage (Quality Assurance)
  • Ensure software is up to date with the latest technology trends
  • Experiment with new frameworks and technologies
  • Become an integral part of our agile teams
  • Follow industry standards

Requirements

  • BS/MS in a Software Engineering principle
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Good knowledge and understanding of Javascript
  • Knowledge and understanding of AngularJS/Angular2+
  • Good knowledge and understanding of HTML5, CSS3
  • Knowledge of source control tools (git, SVN)
  • Understanding of REST standards



The following requirements, although not essential, will be taken into consideration:

  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
  • Experience in Hybrid Mobile applications (Cordova based)
  • Experience in unit testing frameworks (i.e. Karma) and/or end-to-end testing frameworks (i.e. Protractor)
  • Experience in NodeJS
  • Exposure to TypeScript and/or ES6
  • Experience with Sass or other compiled CSS languages
  • Excellent communication skills in English
